Naga, Camarines Sur – For many months now, there have been rumors circulating about a growing rift between the Naga political powerhouses of the current Mayor Nelson Legacion and the immediate former Mayor John Bongat.
According to sources, nagsimula uminit ang isyu sa pagitan nila Legacion at Bongat when the former Mayor criticized the supposed ineffective COVID response of his successor. As of now, COVID cases in Naga have steadily climbed towards unmanageable numbers.
Apart from that, there have been growing disgust among city employees due to the reported “pangingielam” ng isang tao na malapit kay Mayor Legacion. According to the sources inside Naga City Hall, that certain individual has been consistently “dipping fingers in places which are supposedly none of his/her business”.

To further fan flames, there were whispers na mismong si VP Leni Robredo ay hindi masaya sa performance ni Mayor Legacion pati sa mga ginagawa ni certain individual na malapit sa kanya.
Mukhang nakumpirma ito sa isang comment ni VP Leni sa Facebook post ni Bongat.
In one of John Bongat’s post, he jokingly related to one of his commenters that he will leave Naga dahil may nang-aaway daw sa kanya.
Netizens were quick to spot VP Leni’s comment asking Bongat kung sino ang nang-aaway sa kanya at awayin daw nila.
Magiging one term mayor lang ba si Nelson Legacion?
